HILLSDALE SOCCER CLUB
Who are we and how do we work?

HSC has been a Michigan Nonprofit Corporation since 2007. In 2015, we also became a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. That same year, we transitioned to direct member status with MSYSA (Michigan State Youth Soccer Organization) as we moved away from our long-standing indirect affiliation with MSYSA through our former league, CMSA. Our bylaws and board members are updated annually and regular board meetings are held throughout the year. In addition to the Board of Directors, we also have lots of other volunteer opportunites available for our member families.

HSC holds tryout/registration events each June. Our players and coaches represent nearly every community and school district in Hillsdale County. HSC is the only youth soccer organization in this area that aims to prepare players for competitive soccer opportunities. Because qualified coaching is essential to our mission, HSC can only accept a limited number of new players each year. Families interested in membership should contact us for more information.

We are a volunteer-run organization that thrives purely on the steadfast dedication of our members and leadership. Click on the contact button in the upper right corner of the page to find out how you can support the club as a volunteer!

We are always looking for coaches with soccer experience and/or knowledge, as well as coaches with a background in coaching other sports and an interest in learning to shift their coaching focus to soccer. Please contact us if you are interested in coaching or know someone who might be a good fit for our coaching staff. The soccer community in this area is small but strong!
